Due to increased demand for kids wanting to play baseball following the spring In-House season, WBYB started a fall baseball offering in 2014 and it has grown steadily each year.

Players register for the age they will be as of April 31. The number of teams will be determined by the number of registrants. An example: if you are age 11 as of 4/30, you sign up for 11U. See below for age level (with number of teams from last year in parenthesis).
7U: 4 teams
9U: 6 teams
11U: 4 teams
13U: 4 teams
Length of Season
Fall Ball season runs mid- to late-August thru 2nd week of October (weather permitting).
Cost
$125 per player (9U/11U/13U); $75 per player (7U). All pricing subject to change.
Registration typically opens in the month of June.
General Details
WBYB Fall League teams participate in a local area multi-town league, playing not only against each other, but also against teams from Lombard and Glen Ellyn.
Four divisions are offered – 7U (instructional with part kid/part-machine pitch innings), 9U, 11U, and 13U
Rules of play are determined in collaboration with Wheaton Briarcliffe, Lombard Baseball, and Glen Ellyn Youth Baseball
Team’s play approximately10 regular season games (weekends, Fri-Sun), with a single elimination post-season tournament (excluding 7U) in early October. Typically, no games are scheduled during Labor Day weekend and teams typically practice 1-2 times per week.
All games will be played in Glen Ellyn, Lombard, and Wheaton.
Tryout Process
In past years, teams were created based off of best attempts by Briarcliffe Fall Ball Commissioners/Board Members to balance the teams skills-wise, while trying to also honor friend requests where we can.
Given how Briarcliffe Fall Baseball has grown in size, it is more than likely that we will be moving to a full draft to set the teams, especially in the 9U-13U levels.
